The Prosecutor General, Zagorka Dolovac, held a meeting today in Belgrade with the Federal Prosecutor of the Kingdom of Belgium, Ann Fransen, with her associates.

At the meeting between the Prosecutor General of Serbia and the Federal Prosecutor of Belgium, it was pointed out that the Supreme Public Prosecution Office of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Belgium have exceptional cooperation based on the Memorandum of Cooperation from 2010, which is an example of a successful partnership that gives excellent results in concrete criminal cases .

Zagorka Dolovac emphasized that close and direct international cooperation is the key to success in the state's response to the challenges of modern crime, especially in the fight against organized crime and other serious crimes, and that the Supreme Public Prosecution Office will continue to be a reliable partner to the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Belgium.

It was particularly emphasized that the Supreme Public Prosecution Office of Serbia, through European judicial networks such as Eurojust, actively participates in the coordinated fight against transnational crime in Europe and that the exchange of experiences and the support of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Supreme Public Prosecution Office, which was crucial in ensuring provision of encrypted communication from SKY ECC platforms, is extremely important exactly in the fight against organized criminal groups that operate on the international level and for ensuring the safety of citizens in Serbia and in the common European justice area.
