
The Prosecutor General Zagorka Dolovac participated today, together with representatives of public prosecutions and police from the Western Balkans countries, in the meeting of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna, during which the regional GlobE network of anti-corruption authorities was established within the framework of the Regional Roadmap on Anticorruption and Illicit Finance Flows for the Western Balkans.
UNODC representatives thanked the state officials in attendance for their commitment and assessed that the adoption of the Declaration on the establishment of the regional component of the GlobE network strengthens international cooperation in combating corruption and illicit financial flows between the countries in the region – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, as well as that UNODC will continue to provide support to their state institutions in strengthening their capacities.
During her speech, Zarogka Dolovac highlighted that the Supreme Public Prosecution of the Republic of Serbia has been a member of the GlobE network since 2022 and that it is committed to the improvement of international cooperation, since effective results can only be achieved through close cooperation in monitoring money flows and the fight against corruption and economic crime, including the detection and seizure of proceeds of crime.
