The Secretariat is in charge of performing expert, administrative and technical operations which are related to the activities regarding the prosecutorial administration, the exercise of labour rights, maintaining staff records, ensuring the enforcement of operative decisions of the Prosecutor General, preparation of the Work Plan Proposal of the Secretariat.

The Secretariat’s operations are led by Gordana Samardžić, the Secretary of the General Public Prosecution. Within the Secretariat there are internal organisational units– the General Affairs Service, the Registry Office and the Typewriting Bureau.

The General Affairs Service performs expert, administrative and technical operations related to financial-analytics and accounting activities, IT operations, technical maintenance of the equipment and procurement of basic assets and office supplies, librarian activities, the preparation of the Work Plan Proposal of the General Affairs Service.
