The Department for Analytics and Information Technology is in charge of the operations related to the preparation of proposals and drafting of enactments issued by the Prosecutor General, preparation of the informative and professional newsletter of the General Public Prosecution, drafting of the Work Schedule, reports, analyses and notices, annual and periodical reports, preparation of the motions to initiate proceedings before the Constitutional Court for the evaluation of constitutionality and legality of certain regulations, initiating before the competent authorities the adoption of new laws and regulations and amendment of the existing ones, preparation of the Work Program of the Department for Analytics and Information Technology, drafting of the adopted mandatory instructions, reports, analytical reports and notices of the General Public Prosecution. 

The Department for Analytics and Information Technology is in charge of the analytical and IT operations which are related to the operations specified under Article 11 of the Rules of Internal Job Classification in the General Public Prosecution. 

Public Prosecutors of the General Public Prosecution Dr Goran Ilić and Tamara Mirović, are assigned to the Department of Analytics and Information Technology, while Zorica Stojšić is the Head of the Department.
